140 years ago today, Alice Wheatcroft and John ** were the proud parents of my beloved Gramps, George Henry ... there were quite a few of his siblings so far i have found, Annie, Mabel, Edith, William, Samuel and my gramps
Alice was Peter Wheatcroft's daughter from South Wingfield and it seems his father Samuel was a brother of German and Nathaniel....more later..
